Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Store Patrol in Hagerstown, MD. You will serve and safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial settings, maintain a visible presence, support access control, and document observations with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Be subject to background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors and personnel per site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization according to procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, prompt manner and notify appropriate responders.
• Document patrols, incidents and observations accurately and promptly per site requirements.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at an industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will support access control, document observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and direct individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
