As a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol distribution and retail locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer-focused support in dynamic environments. Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution, warehouse, retail, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and facility hazards.
• Monitor access points, receive visitors and deliveries, and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
