Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a hands-on Shift Leader to drive daily restaurant operations in Shakopee, MN. You will lead team performance as the Manager on Duty, coach staff in real time, and ensure consistent execution of brand standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will manage staffing, food quality, safety, cleanliness, and cash procedures while maintaining high standards during both peak and off-peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or shift leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage restaurant operations during assigned shifts as MOD
• Deploy team members effectively across key positions (kitchen and front of house)
• Drive strong execution during peak and non-peak hours
• Monitor ticket times, order flow, and Speed of Service (SOS) performance
• Adjust staffing and manage breaks based on business needs
• Communicate clear goals and expectations to the team each shift
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to brand standards
• Monitor inventory levels, prep readiness, and product quality
• Complete food safety checks, including temperature logs and compliance procedures
• Maintain full adherence to food safety regulations and QSC standards
• Execute daily cleaning plans and maintain sanitation standards
• Ensure cleanliness across the entire restaurant (FOH and BOH)
• Maintain cleaning systems and documentation
• Support equipment upkeep, including fryer maintenance and boil-outs
• Follow all cash handling procedures and maintain accurate cash control
• Balance registers and complete required shift documentation
• Execute opening and closing procedures with consistency
• Support deposit processes when assigned
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service on every shift
• Address and resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
• Ensure team members consistently follow service standards
• Create a positive, high-energy environment that keeps guests coming back
