Women & Infants Hospital is seeking an Admin Nursing Supervisor responsible for the hospital’s administration during 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekends, and holidays. The role serves as a clinical resource to nursing staff and oversees operations with initiative and quality care emphasis.

Formación

• Masters degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required or evidence toward degree.
• Current RN licensure in Rhode Island.
• CPR certification required.
• NRP/ACLS certification within one year of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates competency in clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
• Communicates expectations for nursing practice and coordinates with staff, physicians and patients.
• Resolves administrative and patient care management problems.
• Promotes and supports continuing education for staff.
• Monitors expenditures.
• Manages human resources effectively.
• Attends monthly staff meetings.
• Assists with scheduling of nursing staff and other staff members.
