Qualifications

• Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
• Graduate from an approved school of nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in Rhode Island.
• Current BLS and ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Coordination of Patient Care.
• Ensures the utilization of the nursing process by all staff members.
• Demonstrates an understanding of Nursing’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Makes rounds to review work activity on nursing units and serves as a resource to staff.
• Assists in the provision of nursing care to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients as needed.
• Foresees potential problems and intervenes to offset adverse impact.
• Notifies unit/department leadership of all critical events.
