Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations for our Draper, UT stores. The role includes supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and managing the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

You will schedule staff, coordinate with other departments, ensure safety protocols, and drive efficiency in shipping and receiving while maintaining accuracy in inventory control and reporting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written) with other departments.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Maintain warehouse safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations.
• Prepare activity reports and resolve discrepancies in shipping and receiving.
