Job summary

The role reports to the Operations Manager, oversees staffing, training and quality, and focuses on driving efficiency, safety and postal compliance while maintaining best practices. Salary $60,000–$65,000 plus a 6% field bonus and a flexible vacation schedule.

Qualifications

• One year minimum supervisory experience in a USPS-related or similar mailing environment.
• Two years minimum progressive experience in a production or mailing industry.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and basic MS Word, Internet, and email usage.

Responsibilities

• Organize mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes to meet deadlines.
• Oversee production workers on the designated shift; manage interviewing, hiring, training, appraisal, and discipline.
• Ensure quality across the production area and adherence to Total Quality Management processes.
