Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our Arlington, TX presort facility. The role supports production flow, oversees the 2nd shift, and ensures timely mail processing to meet postal deadlines. Salary range is $59,000–$63,000 annually with a 6% field bonus.

The successful candidate will lead a team, monitor performance, and enforce USPS regulations while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 1 year supervisory experience in a production or mailing environment
• 2+ years of progressively responsible production or mailing industry experience
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access; basic knowledge of MS Word
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand 80% of the time
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays/different shifts with limited notice

Responsibilities

• Oversee production workers on the designated shift, including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance and addressing issues
• Ensure quality throughout the production area and follow Total Quality Management processes
• Assist in USPS and internal reports and ensure clear communication between shifts
• Suggest improvements to equipment use, working conditions, and employee motivation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description:

Pitney Bowes is now hiring for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in our Arlington, TX presort facility!

Salary range: $59,000.00 - $63,000.00 annual salary + 6% field bonus.

As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year.

2nd Shift:

Monday - Friday, 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM

You Will:

Under direction from the Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager, organizes the mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines.

• Responsible for overseeing the production workers on designated shift. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
• Oversee quality function throughout the production area.Assure TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are followed at all times
• Assist Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations.Assure clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts
• Offer suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.
• Other duties as assigned

Your Background:

• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 4:30 pm - 12:30 am
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in any one of the following areas where familiarity of USPS requirements and/or regulations are applied (presort, mailroom, associated industries)
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access along with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet and email
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, or current maximum allowed by your State.Walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation
• Based on operational needs must be willing and able to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off and/or a different shift with limited or no advance notice
