Position Purpose

The Warehouse Forklift position involves performing warehouse duties across all temperature zones, including replenishing selection slots and moving products into assigned areas. The role supports all warehouse operations such as order selection, product put-away, and other tasks as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Replenish pick locations in the assigned area using KWCS system information and various equipment such as forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, and mid-rider.
2. Move received products to designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
3. Work in all warehouse temperature zones, ranging from -10°F to over 100°F in unregulated areas.
4. Operate warehouse equipment including cherry picker, forklift, mid-rider, and pallet jack.
5. Lift weights between 30-60 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
6. Maintain knowledge of products and warehouse locations; familiarity with KWCS system is preferred.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment by clearing debris, damaged cases, and shrink wrap from aisles.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines.
• Knowledge of the food industry is helpful.
• Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols.
• Basic reading and spelling skills for paperwork.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (cold or hot).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to receive and follow directions.
• Ability to multitask and focus on details.
• Customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic.
• High School Diploma required.
