Job description

McIntosh Box and Pallet is seeking a Forklift Operator with experience operating machines to join our team in Buffalo, NY.

We need a technically skilled individual with great attention to detail for the role of Forklift Operator, who also has experience operating various machines.

Shift: 6am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on weekends

Pay: $20 per hour, negotiable based on experience

The Forklift and Material Handler will move materials within the facility and yard, assist in operating wood processing equipment following detailed instructions for accurate cuts, and be flexible to handle multiple tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper placement
• Completing required inspections
• Inspecting vehicles for damage
• Maintaining inventory and activity logs
• Securing loads for transport
• Moving materials around the warehouse
• Preparing stations with the correct lumber
• Storing and tagging materials properly
• Following safety guidelines
• Stacking lumber from machine outfeeds
• Following cut sheets for accuracy
• Troubleshooting issues
