Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a logistics supervisor to build and maintain driver relationships and optimize loads with the Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers.

The role requires coordinating with multiple departments to meet customer expectations and ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing, or Transportation/Logistics, or 2–3 years of fleet management experience, plus 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of fleet management/transportation experience in truckload preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to operate a computer terminal and satellite communications system.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships using company systems and communications tools.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads by origin, destination, freight type, miles, stops, etc.
