This role requires accurate scheduling, use of computerized dispatching and inventory systems, and professional communication with customers and drivers.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a computerized dispatch or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of the Transportation Industry.
• Familiarization with the Northern New England area.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers according to guidelines for safe, on-time deliveries.
• Use computerized dispatching and inventory systems in daily workflow.
• Communicate with customers and drivers via phone, email, or in person.
• Monitor inventory levels at retail stations and bulk facilities.
• Manage driver hours per federal and DOT regulations.
• Address incidents such as weather, accidents, or equipment issues.
• Create accurate customer orders from calls, emails, and faxes.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on equipment out of service and repairs.
• Participate in on-call schedule covering nights, weekends, vacations.
