Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time security officer to support transit environments. You will provide customer service to riders and staff, enforce site procedures, and participate in patrols of facilities and perimeters.

You will monitor access points, respond calmly to incidents, and prepare incident reports, contributing to a safe, reliable transportation setting. A valid driver's license and 1+ year security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A state/county/city security license is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit riders, visitors, and personnel by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of transit facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with transit personnel and responders.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain activity logs.
