Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Ages 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• Driving positions require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by following site procedures and emergency plans.
• Conduct regular patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeters to identify security issues.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and service disruptions, coordinating with transit staff and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and observations.
