Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Track Engineer (Nights) for remote work in the United States. The role focuses on planning, design, and field support to keep rail track systems safe and reliable across major civil projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during construction, inspection, and integration activities, requiring strong technical judgment and hands-on site coordination, especially for night operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in field construction, preferably in large civil or structural projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of LRT systems and track design standards.
• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience on large-scale urban rail transit projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Ensure construction activities account for environmental factors.
• Conduct site surveys to inform design and construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for track integration.
• Provide technical support during construction phases.
• Carry out inspections and tests on track components.
• Supervise track inspection teams and manage repairs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

8+ years field construction experience

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
