Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Telemetry unit. You will deliver direct patient care during night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

You will mentor staff, guide patient/family teaching, and maintain high standards of care in a fast-paced Med/Surg/Telemetry setting. Qualifications include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and basic arrhythmia interpretation.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process in Med/Surg/Telemetry.
• Direct patient and family teaching and guidance to nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physician, monitor cardiac status.
