Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit. The role covers 12-hour night shifts with alternating weekends, providing direct patient care in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting.

Candidates must hold an active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications; BSN preferred. A sign-on bonus is available and compensation includes a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process across Med/Surg/Telemetry.
• Direct patient/family teaching and guide nursing staff while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician, including cardiac monitoring results.
