You will be responsible for staffing, hiring, scheduling, and development pathways, with accountability for P&L and shrink. We offer growth programs and a supportive, inclusive workplace across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; also customer service and product flow experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in daily store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Staffing, hiring, and scheduling to meet staffing needs.
• Promote career paths and development for team members; participate in promotion decisions.
• Oversee P&L, drive sales, and manage shrink for the department.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and maintain Meijer standards.
