Montefiore Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Operating Room and Labor & Delivery areas. Under RN supervision, you will prepare sterile supplies, assist with procedures and ensure patient safety.

You will scrub for cesarean sections, manage instrument counts, maintain aseptic technique, and help with patient care activities per policies. Evening/night shifts and 10-hour shifts with 20 hours per pay period; hourly rate $31–$39.

Qualifications

• Operating Room: 1–2 years experience preferred.
• Labor & Delivery: 1 year patient care and OB experience preferred.
• Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) required on hire; BLS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparation and maintenance of sterile supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Scrub for cesarean sections and pass instruments to surgeons.
• Maintain aseptic environment and document instrument counts.
