Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Store Manager in Aurora, CO to lead and develop store teams, drive customer service excellence, and manage financial performance. You will hire, train, mentor, and align staff with Walmart’s One Best Way, while controlling costs and enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

The role emphasizes leadership, reporting to store leadership, and delivering community-focused initiatives consistent with Walmart values.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and CBC-related training may be required.
• Associates will complete all required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy, Open Door).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops store teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores and giving feedback.
• Drives store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Ensures customer service excellence, community outreach, and action plans to improve processes.
