Walmart in Odessa, TX is seeking a capable leader to build and develop strong teams, teach training, listen to associates, and drive store operations using technology and company direction.

The role focuses on customer service excellence, sales performance, budgeting, merchandising, and action plans to reduce shrink while delivering a top-notch shopping experience for customers. You will hire, train, mentor hourly staff and promote belonging in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training.
• For facilities that sell only ammunition, current state requirements may apply.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete job trainings and assessments (e.g., Open Door trainings).

Responsabilités

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training and actively listening to associates while guiding store operations.
• Drives store sales, budgeting, forecasting and expense control to meet profit goals.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and supports the One Best Way service model.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and Open Door Policy, and promotes a culture of belonging.
