Job summary

Walmart in Odessa, TX is seeking a store leadership professional to drive sales and develop a cohesive team. You will mentor associates, implement customer service standards, and manage operations to align with company direction and community programs.

The role emphasizes training, feedback, and inclusive leadership while ensuring procedures are followed and performance is measured against goals.

Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and firearms training may be required.
For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, I acknowledge that the position may require a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

Leads and develops teams by teaching, training and feedback.
Manages customer service initiatives and store operations.
Drives store financial performance by reviewing P&L, budgeting and controlling expenses.
Ensures compliance with policies, ethics and integrity through Open Door guidance.
Builds belonging mindset and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
