Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stocker to keep shelves full, organized, and ready for customers each morning. You will unload trucks, stock and rotate product, and assist customers while maintaining Hy-Vee’s standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work overnight. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with up to six months of related experience preferred.

• Follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.
• Use basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates in a friendly, helpful way.
• Stay organized and keep up with the pace of a busy overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Monitor for mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, and report issues accordingly.
• Organize stock for greatest efficiency and restock damaged items.
• Tag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers.
• Work alongside teammates to ensure a smooth overnight operation.
