Job summary

Michaels is seeking store team members in Evansville, IN to assist customers, manage checkout, and support merchandising and store operations. You will help customers find products, explain benefits, and participate in omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

The role involves standing, lifting, and stocking duties in a climate-controlled retail environment. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings is typical in store

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock conditions, and merchandise returns/go-backs.
