Job summary

CHOC Children’s in Orange, CA is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support daily operations. You will receive and accurately record staffing and schedule changes, and collaborate with the Nursing Supervisor and Unit Nursing leaders using the CHOC scheduling system.

The role acts as a key resource for all users, gathers time and attendance documents, and compiles data to create reports, ensuring efficient staffing workflows in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with administrative staffing processes or administrative support services.
• 1–3 years of experience with administrative staffing processes preferred.
• Education: HS Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; well organized with strong prioritization.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; customer service oriented.
• Licensure: None required.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and push/pull 150-200 lbs in clinical settings.
