• Local paid hourly starting at $24.16, increasing to $25.19 after 6 months, then $26.21 after 1 year

Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers and containers between yard locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers
• Report equipment issues or maintenance needs
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
• Ensure compliance with Federal and state laws and regulations
• Detect and minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and transportation of materials

Qualifications

• Pass background and Motor vehicle checks, including drug and alcohol verification
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• No major chargeable accidents
• Valid Class A CDL
