Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers and containers between yard locations as a company yard driver.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers.
• Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Understand DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and transportation of materials.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and motor vehicle check, including drug (including marijuana) and alcohol verification screens.
• Knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations.
• No major chargeable accidents.
• Possess a valid Class A CDL.
