Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers and containers between yard locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers.
• Report equipment issues or maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations regarding safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and transportation of materials.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug and alcohol screening.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• No major chargeable accidents.
• Valid Class A CDL.
