Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers and containers between yard locations as a Company Yard Driver.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers.
• Report equipment issues or maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Know and adhere to DOT regulations regarding safe driving, hours of service, inspections, and transportation of materials.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Report, including drug and alcohol screening.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• No Major Chargeable Accidents.
• Valid Class A CDL.
