Job summary

BURNCO Rock Products Ltd is hiring a Yard Helper for our Aggregates team in Texas. This full-time, field-based role supports safe material handling, equipment operation, and general plant maintenance at the Bridgeport site.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work 12-hour night shifts, and has experience in the aggregate industry. Welding skills and heavy machinery experience are a plus; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and shovels.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in small teams.
• Willing and able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
• Experience in the aggregate industry and welding skills are a plus.
• Experience operating heavy machinery in a plant environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks such as material handling, yard cleanup, machinery inspections, loading/unloading, and general facility housekeeping.
• Support equipment operators as needed and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct minor maintenance and basic repairs on equipment and use hand tools to complete daily work requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and participate in cross-training.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear required PPE; report hazards and safety concerns.
