Job summary

BURNCO Rock Products Inc. is hiring an Aggregate Plant Operator for our Bridgeport site. This role focuses on safely operating the plant, maintaining safety, and supporting maintenance while collaborating with the team.

The position requires basic mechanical aptitude, math skills, and a willingness to work 12-hour night shifts, with weekend hours as needed. Prior aggregate experience and welding are assets.

Qualifications

• Experience safely operating equipment in an aggregate environment.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED is an asset.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the processing plant to transform raw pit material into finished aggregate products.
• Use loaders, haul trucks, skid steers, welders, and hand tools daily.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily priorities and cross-train as needed.
• Help maintain a safe, hazard-free environment through housekeeping and routine maintenance.
• Complete required documentation and highlight opportunities for plant improvements.
• Follow MSHA and company safety policies; perform other duties as assigned.
