Job summary

BURNCO Rock Products Ltd. is seeking a Loader Operator for our Texas Aggregates team in Bridgeport. You will safely operate front-end loaders, load materials, and help maintain a hazard-free site while following MSHA safety policies.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends. Prior heavy equipment experience is a plus; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work effectively in small teams.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed.
• Related industry experience is a plus.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in a plant environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders to load customer trucks accurately with materials.
• Monitor finished product piles for oversize material and contamination.
• Load raw material from the pit into the hopper at targeted production rates.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning and daily inspections.
• Fuel and grease equipment as part of regular maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow MSHA safety policies.
• Identify and report safety hazards; participate in safety meetings.
• Travel to various job sites and work 12-hour shifts with weekend hours as needed.
