Job summary

Sysco in New York, Town of Florida, is seeking a full-time warehouse associate for the night shift. You will handle loading/unloading, put-away, replenishments, and product selection when qualified, following PWMs and using appropriate equipment.

You must work in freezer, cooler and dry environments with extreme temperatures and maintain safety and productivity standards. The role requires forklift certification, RF scanning, and the ability to operate MHE safely.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a functional capacity test.
• Able to work effectively in a team and communicate with supervision and peers.
• Must read, write and follow safety procedures and PWMs.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound product from trailers or containers using PWMs and equipment.
• Perform loading, put-away, replenishments, picks and selections as qualified.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage or shortages and report to supervisor.
• Ensure temperature checks for refrigerated/frozen product and proper handling.
• Operate MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and maintain equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working areas and follow all safety rules.
