Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate for the night shift (11pm-7am, Sunday through Thursday). You will load and unload product from trailers using forklifts and other equipment, following PWMs and safety protocols in a freezer, cooler, or dry warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting trailers, securing loads, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate warehouse locations. Requires ability to work in extreme temperatures, meet productivity standards, and receive forklift

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Must be able to observe and to communicate those observations verbally and in written form to others responsible for the equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from trailers using forklifts and PWMs to ensure safety and load integrity.
• Inspect trailers and product for damages, shortages or temperature issues and report findings.
• Secure pallets with shrink wrap and organize loads according to truck mapping and instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and operate MHE safely.
• Adhere to safety rules, complete forklift certification, and perform daily equipment checks.
