Job summary

Sysco is hiring for a night shift warehouse position involving loading, unloading, receiving, put-away, and selection of product where qualified. The role requires working in freezer, cooler, and dry environments with extreme temperatures.

You will be responsible for accurate data entry, inventory integrity, and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks in a fast-paced warehouse. The position emphasizes safety, adherence to PWMs, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must work effectively in a team environment.
• Must communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Must observe and communicate those observations to equipment operators and maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify pallets per requirements.
• Enter/scan LPN, catch-weight, manufacture date, and expiration into the warehouse system using RF devices.
• Record item counts and weights from bills of lading and invoices.
• Inspect products for shortages, damage, or quality issues and report to supervisor.
• Record OS&D events and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor temperatures for cooler and freezer products per PWMs and respond to deviations.
• Complete vendor compliance forms during receiving per PWMs.
• Operate MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain clean work areas and organize warehouse locations.
• Follow company safety rules and procedures.
