Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Front Royal, VA, is seeking workers for the night shift (11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday) to load and unload trailers in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environments. The role requires forklift certification, ability to work in extreme temperatures, and strict adherence to PWMs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting trailers, handling product with MHE, ensuring load balance, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team.
• Must communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Must observe proper lifting techniques and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound foodservice product from trailers onto the dock using material handling equipment.
• Reconfigure inbound pallets to meet storage requirements.
• Load product onto trucks following PWMs to maintain load balance and driver safety.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE safely; report any unsafe conditions.
• Maintain neat and clean work areas and comply with safety regulations.
