Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in USA – Inwood, WV is hiring for a Warehouse Operator Specialist - Team Lead (night shift). The role covers loading and unloading freight, inventory control, rotation and inspection to ensure timely deliveries.

You will act as lead liaison between the Warehouse Manager and staff, guiding daily warehouse operations on a 12‑hour 2‑2‑3 schedule with a 7:00pm–7:00am night shift.

Responsibilities

• Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort freight by size and destination.
• Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite movement and tracing.
• Reconcile driver pickup and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.
• Maintain a safe, clean dock area through routine housekeeping.
• Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on reports.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor and staff on daily tasks.
• Delegate tasks and monitor staffing in coordination with Warehouse Supervisor.
• Identify and communicate system or process issues to Warehouse Supervisor.
