Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in the United States is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Operator, Driver Check In to coordinate shipments, unload and load goods, and verify carrier paperwork. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely dispatch within a warehouse setting.

You will operate forklifts, manage loading activities, use basic MS Office tools, and collaborate with transportation providers and customers to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Able to stand for several hours per day.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily activities for an assigned shift or area.
• Adheres to warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value add services.
• Meets company objectives in performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves products to the correct destination.
• Loads/unloads products using appropriate handling techniques and ensures trailer safety.
• Verifies driver, trailer, and bills for the carrier and location.
