Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the night shift in Atlanta, GA. You will oversee the warehouse team from 5:30 PM to 4:30 AM, with Mondays–Wednesdays off. The role emphasizes safety, process discipline, and efficient warehouse operations across receiving, production, and shipping.

You will ensure accurate execution of tasks, supervise 10–15 staff, and partner with leaders to address issues, improve flow, and maintain GMP compliance in a fast-paced food environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Computer proficiency to execute transactions and enter counts/corrections required.
• Ability to use handheld data logging equipment required.
• Must have supervised at least 10-15 employees.
• Must have 2+ years of warehouse experience in a leadership role.
• 5S and lean manufacturing principles highly desired.
• Employees must be familiar with and become certified to use all P.I.T equipment utilized at the facility within 90 days of employment.
• General high school degree, or equivalent, (e.g. GED).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the warehouse team for their shift, ensuring tasks are executed safely and properly.
• Manage receiving, production and shipping processes per SOPs to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure WMS compliance from receipt through putaway to storage and audit processes.
• Coordinate with logistics for outbound shipments, dock checks, and load documentation.
• Conduct end-of-shift walkthroughs and document handoffs and outcomes.
• Perform performance evaluations and coaching for warehouse leads and associates.
• Enforce GMPs and safety policies, and promote continuous improvement.
