Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Production Lead in Atlanta, GA for a dayshift role from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays off. You will lead a line handling portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping, training associates and coordinating with the supervisor to meet daily targets.

You will set up lines per SOPs, ensure GMP compliance, manage waste, and communicate targets and performance to the team. This role requires strong leadership and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong attendance and performance record as a Home Chef production associate.
• Willingness to follow SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Guide a line of production associates during portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping.
• Lead, direct, train and supervise assigned production employees.
• Set up tables and lines according to SOPs and production targets.
• Communicate production targets and pace to the team; monitor performance.
• Coordinate with supervisor for daily production plans and material needs.
• Ensure GMP and food safety procedures are followed; escalate issues as needed.
