Job summary

Sheehan Family Companies is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee overnight order selection operations and supervise 12 team members. The role requires ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards while acting as the first line of leadership for the overnight staff.

You will collaborate with the Assistant Operations Manager on scheduling, workflow planning, and problem-solving, while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a warehouse environment
• 1+ year managing 3+ direct reports
• High School diploma or GED required
• Forklift certification preferred
• Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and inventory management

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight order selectors to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment
• Monitor productivity and efficiency metrics in the warehouse
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Train, mentor, and coach team members to improve performance
• Assist the Assistant Operations Manager with scheduling, workflow planning, and problem solving
• Inspect warehouse areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy
• Address and resolve employee concerns during shifts
• Report daily operations status to the Assistant Operations Manager
• Support inventory management including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
• Uphold a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
