Job summary

Floor & Decor in Hilliard, OH is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to oversee store warehouse operations, directing daily activities of warehouse staff and forklift operators. You will coordinate shipping and receiving, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure safe, efficient processes across departments.

The role requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehousing, strong communication, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control).
• Maintain warehouse equipment and preventive maintenance programs; communicate repairs.
• Ensure warehouse safety programs comply with OSHA and internal standards.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Complete activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist.
