This role emphasizes safety, training, and cross‑department coordination to maintain efficient shipping and receiving at our San Diego stores. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication and math skills, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building and delegation skills.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in basic mathematical calculations and Windows-based systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to maintain proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee warehouse safety programs and OSHA-related requirements.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle disciplinary processes and address employee inquiries.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Complete activity reports for management and ensure timely data entry.
• Manage Storage Buy Audit COP and product staging.
• Oversee inventory rotation and proper storage practices.
