Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our Indianapolis Presort facility in Indiana. The role oversees production staff, ensures adherence to USPS rules, and drives efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with night shifts and a competitive annual salary of $61,000–$64,000 plus a 6% field bonus, depending on skills and location. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in USPS-related environments (presort, mailroom, or similar).
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access; basic knowledge of MS Word, Internet and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production workers on designated shift; interview, hire, train, appraise performance; enforce policies.
• Oversee quality function; ensure Total Quality Management processes are followed at all times.
• Assist Operations Manager in completing USPS and internal reports and job costing; ensure clear communication between shifts.
• Suggest improvements to equipment usage, working conditions, and employee motivation.
• Other duties as assigned
