Cardinal Health in Walton Hills, OH is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to lead 15-20 warehouse associates, ensuring pick, pack and ship activities meet safety and quality standards. You will coach staff, monitor metrics, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with HR and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes on-floor operations with administrative duties, budget adherence, and maintaining inventory quality in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 3-5 years related experience preferred.
• Prior experience with continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (Pivot Tables and spreadsheets).
• Experience working within ERP’s (SAP or Manhattan) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a team of 15-20 warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of products and motivate employees to ensure predetermined productivity and quality standards.
• Monitor site productivity standards and hold associates accountable to daily, weekly, monthly metrics; provide timely feedback and initiate corrective action process when needed.
• Adhere to budgetary guidelines, and work to meet Distribution Center objectives and operational goals while maintaining standards pertaining to quality and inventory.
• Responsible for continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Perform daily scheduling of the work force to ensure proper staffing to select, replenish, restock, locate, and ship merchandise in a productive and cost-efficient manner.
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment, guiding both preventive maintenance and coordinating all necessary repairs.
• Active engagement in employee development, including training, coaching, counseling, and performance appraisals.
• Majority of work day is spent on the floor while balancing administrative duties.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams at all levels within the organization, specifically HR groups daily.
• Interview and make hiring decisions for lead and associate level roles.
• Maintain responsibility for disciplinary process and ensure a productive work climate.
• Prepare ad hoc reports using Excel or other programs.
• Responsible for attendance/PTO records and scheduling maintenance.
• Hold staff accountable for safe work practices and compliance with OSHA, DEA, FDA and local regulations.
