Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Hillsboro (Brookwood) is seeking a N1 MFG Equipment Maintenance Technician – Etch to maintain wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom, wearing PPE, on a compressed night shift from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Sundays through Tuesdays and every other Saturday. This non-exempt factory role requires working in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will have an associate degree or military equivalent with at least 2 years of hands-on maintenance in a

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands on technical maintenance experience in high volume semiconductor environment.
• Candidate must adhere to all company safety protocols.
• Demonstrated proficiency in collaboration with others to make improvements through experimentation and drive toward standardized methods.
• Strong mechanical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills required.
• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment
• Work closely with the factory management team to prioritize job tasks
• Work closely with peers, supervisor, and engineering team to deeply understand root cause of failure and use those learnings to continuously improve equipment availability to meet production goals
• Work with vendors, field service and technical representatives, and may be required to attend classes, seminars, vendor training if required
• Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities
• Document all work performed on equipment
