Job summary

Headway Technologies, Inc. in Milpitas, CA is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance on multiple tool sets, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering to improve reliability.

The role requires reading schematics, following maintenance guides, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in a Class 100 ESD wafer facility. B shift covers Mon-Wed and every other Thu 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Two years hands-on maintenance experience in semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with various tools/sets, machining equipment, and hand tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on multiple tools, ensuring optimum performance within specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tool issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering or vendors to improve tool reliability and reduce MTBF/MTTR.
• Prepare data/docs for daily/weekly pass down meetings and maintain maintenance guides.
