Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of health unit coordinator course or related coursework in medical terminology and data entry.
• BLS certification as Healthcare Provider or MTN equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine patient/resident care such as call light response, ambulating, transferring, positioning, and hygiene assistance.
• Collects, records, and reports patient/resident data and notable changes in condition.
• Provides general clerical support to the unit, including answering phones, data entry, and distributing information.
