Job summary
American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift RN for a Stepdown/PCU position in Washington with cardiac drip titration experience. WA or compact RN license required. Night shift (19:00–07:00) in a teaching hospital environment with Level II Trauma Center exposure.
Requirements include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, 1 year of stepdown/PCU nursing, and Epic charting proficiency. Travel hospital setting offers housing allowances and licensure reimbursements.
Qualifications
- Active WA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
- Minimum 1 year of stepdown or PCU nursing experience required.
- Cardiac drip titration and management experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care on Night Shift in Stepdown/PCU within a Level II Trauma Center.
- Perform cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and Rapid Response involvement.
- Manage telemetry, renal, neurological and GI needs with 1:4-5 nurse-patient ratios.
- May float to Tele or Med-Surg; may float between sister facilities.
- Use Epic charting system for documentation.
- Commit to 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day).
