Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Terre Haute, IN is actively seeking a Transportation Manager to lead day-to-day operations and account management within our supply chain division. The role emphasizes leadership of staff, adherence to schedules, and delivering high levels of customer service.

Key duties include planning, staffing, and safety management, with a focus on regulatory compliance and cross-functional collaboration to meet daily goals and improve operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics is preferred.
• Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field.
• One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within an assigned function and manage operations and account management.
• Lead direct reports and achieve daily operational goals within the area.
• Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling to ensure efficiency.
• Ensure health and safety management and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
